You are either saved, or you are not; there is no middle ground, there is no purgatory, there is no gray. It’s easy to think you’re saved. You can be sure today.

If you don’t know, or if you’re not sure if you are saved...
then you have doubt.
If you have doubt, then you don’t have faith.
… O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? (Matthew 14:31)
… Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not… (Matthew 21:21)
If you don’t have faith, then that is sin.
… for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. (Romans 14:23)
The penalty for sin is death.
For the wages of sin is death… (Romans 6:23)
Even when we were dead in sins… (Ephesians 2:5)
Those who are dead are not saved.
For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found… (Luke 15:24)
